Pre Production - Emailing the cast about costume and Test Shoot

Yesterday I emailed the whole cast which are going to be in the music video. In this email I was informing them of the costume which they will need to wear. The costume isn't very specific but I gave a brief description and also showed some photos of the look that we are going for and asked them if they could try follow this look. 

For the boys we asked them to wear baggy trousers ideally dickies and a baggy t-shirt or a baggy shirt with a pair of trainers. This is the classic skateboarder look which is very similar to what we are going for. Me and Cam have lots of dickies trousers and baggy tops which we can lend any of the characters if they need it. 

The photos below are the ones which I sent to the boys. 

I also emailed the cast asking if they could all do a cast shoot for around an hour next week, saying that we will only need the extras for no more than 20 minutes. See exact email further down the page. 

For the girls we also sent a few photos and a brief description of the ideal clothes for them to wear. 

The look which we are going for with the girls is very edgy and predominately dark colours. We want the girls who are extras in the video to give off a slightly mysterious impression so this costume will help bring this point across.
